Sacred Tattoo Art
Tattooing is an ancient, sacred practice—a living prayer, a shield of protection, and a mark of transformation. Symbols, motifs, archetypes that tell a story. Stories are what make or break us. It can destroy our health like the victim secret stories each human tells themselves or it can preserve the heart of ancient culture, ancient wisdom, and or codes of our destiny.
As a professional tattoo artist since 2017, I honor the ancient wisdom traditions that once preserved our health, wealth, Love, and happiness. In modern times with modern technology, a new era, with new bio-spiritual and ecological crisis, emerges the exploration and mission of my art. Surrealism, graffiti (yes I can still get down lol), sacred geometry, black and grey, dot work, and styles that have yet to be labeled. Every piece I create is infused with meaning, intention, and energy tailored to your unique journey, whether it’s a symbol of prosperity, guidance, or protection.
The more you surrender to my process, the better the outcome. The more controlling you are of my process and life experience in craft, skill, and intuition, the more you interfere with the gift I'm trying to give you!
***In some instances if there is too much interference with this sacred process, I will cancel the tattoo and refer you to a more fitting artist for the job. There will be no refund for the prep work I do.
Holistic Health Coaching
I am a foundation principles coach. I teach principles that are fundamental to well being and performance. I offer transformative sessions to help you heal, empower, and inspire yourself. I help you rewrite your life story with your true story of overcoming. More importantly, I teach you how to nurture that empowering story and integrate it into the fabric of your life. Rewrite your mind, body, and liberate your SOUL.
Drawing from my certification as a Chek Holistic Health Coach, years of self development, and holistic rehabilitation, I provide one-on-one holistic counseling and coaching. Whether you’re looking to overcome addictions, bad habits, or rediscover your true self, I offer tools and support to help you LIBERATE YOURSELF.
1. In depth physiological assessments (Food intolerances testing, environmental toxins panel, etc).
2. Develop individual diet education, specifically suited for your own body, genetics, metabolic type, and vitality. Learn to be an intuitive eater and no longer an emotional, addictive eater.

Every cell in our body worships the story within our unconscious mind as GOD. Tattooing is the opportunity to begin rewriting your story on a deep level. A holistic approach to nurture a new healthy story must also revere mind, body, and Soul alignment with natural and supernatural law.
Original, Meaningful Art: Each tattoo is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. I never duplicate the same tattoo unless it's planned amongst a group or couple. I'm always experimenting with principles of pattern through art that continually births new styles, concepts, and originality. Sure I gain inspiration from a wide array of art and life but most of my art you will not find as a copy and paste image.
Deep Connection: My practice is not just about ink—it’s about transformation, healing, and honoring the sacredness of life. It's about creating relationships that are life giving. My intention is that you also leave each session with a deeper connection to your life, the life around and within you.
About Me
My name is Darin Shiu. I'm born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. I’ve been tattooing since 2009, beginning as a passionate hobbyist before completing a formal apprenticeship in 2017. However, I've been an artist my whole life. I'm just a Lover of Wisdom and a mad scientist discovering what works and what doesn't for me. I've climbed out of more hells than I can count by the Grace of GOD and have a LOVE for sharing the gems I collected along the way.
I've been more committed to a holistic healing journey of rehabilitation and integration of mind, body, and Soul since 2015. In 2020, I became a certified Chek Holistic Health Coach, integrating my love for well being, performance, health, art, teaching, and spirituality into ONE LOVE.
I’m endlessly inspired by the power of learning, transformation, and alchemy, and I approach every creation as a sacred opportunity to honor this wild ride called, life.
